This includes, Humanistic and Strengths-Based approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), etc.

  • Music Listening - Listening to music that is meaningful to you can quickly bring up thoughts, feelings, and emotions without needing to talk about it, especially when you don't know where to start.

  • Music Making -  Whether it'd be playing instruments, re-creating a song, improvising, or singing, the act of music making itself can improve self esteem and self concept. Playing with another person in this therapeutic context can also increase connection, safety, and trust. It is also another form of self-expression. You do not need to have prior musical experience.

  • Song writing - Turn your thoughts into lyrics or sounds, and create a meaningful product from your therapy experience.
